A new exhibit at one of my favorite museums, The Museum of the Moving Image celebrates the creative genius of Chuck Jones, the mind behind Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Elmer Fudd, the stalker-esque Pepe Le Pew, Wile E. Coyote and the Road Runner. The exhibit called, “What’s Up, Doc? The Animation Art of Chuck Jones” features 23 of his animated films, interactive experiences, and over 125 original sketches, drawings, storyboards, production backgrounds, photographs and animation cels.
The MOMI is the first stop in a national tour and will remain there until January 19, 2015. It will then move on to Dallas and Seattle. You can view the entire tour itinerary (still pending) on the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service site.
